hahaha okay this entry ain’t exactly gonna be about Darwin’s theory blah blah blah…
Exams have finally ended… 4 Papers in 4 days, back to back, it almost killed me, like really. But i’m glad i had fun hanging out with the girls after the annoying bitchy macro paper!
we went taka kino and shopped for random magazines, stationery and book. HAHAH i know this sounds really geeky, fancy shopping at kino right after exams but lucky leheng picked up some kino vouchers in one of the seminar rooms so…. we should not waste precious resources should we? =)) heheh.
i bought a book ‘sheconomics’, been wanting to get it and i finally did! hahah oops yet another evidence of my geeky nature HAHA
Got home really late cause we spent tons and tons of time at sephora, etude …blah blah basically all the make up stores we pass by in town! hahah we had lunch at crystal jade korean bbq. IT WAS DAMN GOOD. we had so much, that i felt my stomach tearing… like seriously…i hope i don’t get stretch mark from it! we had tea after that at you-don’t-know-but-i-know-where at shaw house. HAHA seriously i can’t remember the name. think it was french. but WOO! the tea really BOOSTED my energy…haha i had “dry desert lime”, which adeline thought tasted “exotic” haha but i enjoyed it nevertheless. melissa commented that the name of this tea sounded like a mixer drink…screwdriver or some sort hahah.
Phew… i’m so glad i finally got the time and mood to just abandon all the thoughts i had at the back of my mind and enjoy my share of bimbotic+taitai time with the girls. =DD
Woke up super early today… had to meet up with my predecessor for SMUSA SIS, Yin Yin for handover. She’s really passionate about her role as the student initiatives secretary… i was a little pressured by her overpowering enthusiasm initially because i’m afraid i may not be able to live up to her expectation, but she was really nice and understanding about my intimidated feelings haha.
OH WELL that also mean, i should enjoy myself today and slack all i want before work kicks in agaiN! GOSH… patron’s day and smusa…hope i can cope with it….decided to tender resignation to my job in just ed. guess thrs no pt holding on to it if i can’t commit and perform well as an employee… besides, i wont have the time. hais..there means…NO MORE SHOPPING =(
oh almost forgot what spurred me to blog today.
on the way to school, yin text me that she’ll be 20mins late… extra time + hungry stomach = breakfast alone
i sat at “kopi roti” at dhoby exchange and had breakfast alone. then i realise the vast change in me. the usual yanwen would NEVER let me repeat NEVER EVER sit alone in public eating…usually i would rather not eat or grab a bite on-the-go. Not that it makes me a loner now, but i guess i’m less insecured.
I’m glad i chose SMU. i think circumstances haven pushed me to learn to be more self-sustaining.
enjoyed the bus ride home alone… everythin was so slow but serene. haha huili would say “dont emo shoot mtv on bus leh” as always -.- haha
